Admissions Requirements and Procedures
Enrollment / Admissions Requirements and Procedures:
- Be at least 18 years of age (past the age of compulsory education)
- Complete an application
- Submit $75.00 non-refundable registration fee
- Graduates of regionally accredited high schools are eligible for admission to Learnet Academy, Inc.
- Students who possess the equivalent of a regionally accredited high school diploma are eligible for admission to Learnet Academy, Inc. Such equivalents include the following:
- The Certificate of Proficiency, based on completion of the High School Proficiency Examination with satisfactory scores
- The California High School Equivalency Certificate (G.E.D.) (applicant must have a minimum score of 45 on each of the five sections and an overall score of 250 or higher
- All applicants (Except EFL Program) to Learnet Academy, Inc. must pass an Entrance Examination. Testing must be completed prior to signing the enrollment agreement. Learnet Academy, Inc use the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam™ (SLE), a nationally recognized standardized test which measures an applicant’s potential for successfully completing the program in which they plan to enroll. If the student does not receive a passing score, the student may take the test again after 7 days. The test shall be given by the institution on its premises. A score of 17 or above is required.
- Complete the following enrollment paperwork. A copy of the following papers should be given to the student (a, b) and the student can print out from www.learnet.net (c, d, e, f, g and h).
- Enrollment Agreement, Attendance Card, A copy of ID, Entrance Record (Admissions Application and Interview), Entrance Test, Promissory Note (cash only) for Student File

- The Admissions Representative must recommend the student for enrollment and submit the enrollment paperwork to the Executive Director for approval.
For International Students:
All International students’ admissions requirements and procedures are same admissions as all other students. In addition international applicants must submit other documents as follows:
I-20 cannot be processed until all items in this checklist have been received in completed form.
- Completed I-20 Application Form.
- Official bank letter and sponsor letter or endorsement (less than three months old)-U.S. $ 15,000 per year.
- Last School Record (Minimum High School Diploma)
International applicants must make obvious competence in the English language by one of the following standards except English as a Foreign Language major: an equivalent level of English proficiency from an approved English as a Second Language (ESL) program; register to study English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program at Learnet Academy; graduation from a secondary or a postsecondary institution whose primary language of instruction was English; or proof of successful completion of a minimum of six months (two quarters) of postsecondary coursework at an accredited institution in which English was the language of instruction.
- A photocopy of the page from your passport showing your full legal name, birth date, passport expiration date, and photograph
- For F-1 transfer students only: A transfer letter from the school you have been attending or a copy of your most recent I-20, a copy of your I-94, and a copy of your F-1 Visa.
